Im busy as shit. Shower. School. Work. Eat. Sleep. Shit (if I have time…nah just kidding thats gross I take shits). but yeah, your catching my drift. I havent anytime for anything.

Only on Tuesday morning I have a few hours before I head out where I just zone out to music and update my Tumblr.

Going through my Pictures on my laptop I forgot to share the shots I took of my friend Melissa about two weeks ago. She applying for season 15 of America’s Next Top Model and needed some bathing suit shots to send in.

Oh and one day I just didnt feel like going to campus at all and spent the day with DeadstockMind in Williamsburg eating sushi and taco’s off this GOOOD ASS taco cart off Bedford ave.

Its really been uninteresting on this blog. Im sure you all can tell.

I’ve like been uber busy. Between classes and my new job at American Apparel in Parkslope, Brooklyn.
Its either Im on campus or Im in Brooklyn.
No time to myself.
No sleep.
Barely any food.

Im living the life …. kind of sort of.

I’m in the midst of talking to my best friend/brother Lenny over AIM about how sucky our lives kind of are and how unsatisfied we are with what we have accomplished so far in life. Hes done so much just turning 18. I envy him so much and right now we are just throwing compliments back and forth to one another in hopes of cheering one another up.

I notice people work and go to school and complain they dont have time for themselves but they have time to party and smoke and drink and lose focus of their priorities.

I can’t do that.
I cant lose focus.
I’ll adjust my lens until it isn’t blurry anymore.

So, I’m pretty sure this shit (blog) will pick back up pretty soon. Either during Spring Break or the summer.
Right now expect more personal, freelance photos and more of me just expressing how myself once I have the time to do so.

I was upset upon downloading it that it was just one big ass track. I felt like I downloaded a 1997 reggae/dancehall mixtape instead of a 2010 Ninjasonik mixtape.

Anywho, the mixtape is pretty good. Pon De Floor vs. Somebody Gonna Get Pregnant is my favorite song on the mixtape being that they took two of my favorite songs to dance to in 09 and mixed that shit. Real cool.

Nola Darling

Just finished watching She’s Gotta Have It. There hasnt been one Spike Lee Joint that I wouldnt watch over and over and over again.

Here’s my favorite part of the movie.
The only scene in the movie thats actually in color. The rest of the film is in black and white.

Nola-Vocals

There is one part of the film where Jamie Overstreet was catching the train to Nola Darling’s apartment. Instead of filming Jamie actually riding the train, Spike Lee used a series of blurred high contrast still frames of with jazz in the background. It was brilliant.

What I loved most about She’s Gotta Have It is the characters are depicted as intelligent and somewhat upscale ubanites and the beauty it brought to the borough of Brooklyn. As a female the overall message had me captured.

As Normal As He Can Get

Most of you might know by now that Im a serious, serious, Charles Hamilton fan. Almost every project he’s put out has at least one of my favorite songs that I can either relate to or just fuck with.

For Normalcy, I really cant relate to any of the songs. I mean its WORTH a download and WORTH a listen. It dropped December 28th, 2009.
Normalcy was Hamilton’s anxiousely awaited comeback and he stated he tried to make the project seem as normal as possible so maybe people would stop calling him “weird” and understand where hes coming from.

I dont feel like he has to prove shit to anyone. His devoted fans, (like me) will always fuck with him.

My favorite tracks on the mixtape are ‘Baby Says I Want’ & ‘New Music From Charles Hamilton’. The beat in ‘Baby Says I Want’ is fucking bananas and I like ‘New Music From Charles Hamilton’ because he tells all the internet haters and doubters off.

On a serious note, I really fuck with Buffalo Exchange.

All the overpriced American Apparel shit that I want, I really have to fight with myself and come up with a proper & logical excuse on why not to buy it.

But now that I’ve realized that Buffalo Exchange has so much fucking American Apparel new & old I’m really going to start messing with BF more.

Bought this extremely cute blue cropped sweater from there today for like 14 dollars and I know good and damn well it originally priced probably double that price.

Didn’t like the way my stomach looked on the last explaining the big ‘ol black block covering it.

Haven’t done any thrifting in Williamsburg in a while now. Everytime I go though I visit Beacons Closet and I never seem to buy much of anything. That place is too much for me. I feel overwhelmed with clothing and colors and boots and colors and bags and colors and old things and colors and the associates have crappy attitudes. Fuck that store.
